  Great Place to Work - 2003

JISCO is the only Steel Company to figure in this survey.
The Study is based on a model developed by Mr.Robert   Levering, the founder of the Great Places to Work Institute, based on more than 20 years of research on labor and corporate culture related issues. The model recognizes a Great Workplace as one where the employees:

· Trust the people they work for

· Have Pride in what they do

· Enjoy the people they work with

   Indian Institute of Metal National Quality Award - 2001- 2002, 2002-03

For two consecutive years (FY 2001-02 & FR 2002-03) JISCO has won the first Prize (amongst Pig Iron Plant/DR units/re-rolling units) in the National Quality Competition (For Iron & Steel Sector) conducted by the Ferrous division of Indian Institute of Metals. 

Winning the award for two consecutive years in an appreciation received for the thrust given by JISCO on its continuous improvement in quality of business processes.

 

 

 

“Commendation Certificate” - 

IMC Ramkrishna Bajaj National Quality Award - 2003

JISCO has won the Commendation Certificate in the IMC Ramkrishna Bajaj National Quality Award in the  manufacturing category.  Criteria are aligned with  the Malcolm Baldrige award and focus mainly on the key areas of organizational performance 

relating to: 

  • Customer Focused results, 
  • Product & Service results, 
  • Financial and Market results, 
  • Human resource results,
  • Organisational improvement results, 
  • Governance & Social responsibilities results.

 

Raw Material Supplier Award – 2002-03

 At a Supplier convention held by Honda Motorcycle & Scooter Pvt. Ltd. on April 10, 2003, JISCO was conferred with the “Raw Material Supplier” award for the supplies made during the year 2002-03. Evaluation of this award is based on the following parameters – Quality management, Delivery, Price and Development.

 

 

Award for Innovative HR practices - 2002

“Organisation With Innovative Practices” award was given to JISCO at the All India HRD Congress in 2002 at Mumbai. This was an appreciation for some of the innovative HR strategies adopted by JISCO such as benchmarking  project – PACE (Planning Action for Continued Excellence), BRACE (Business Results Achievement through Competencies & Ethics), LEAD (Learning and Educating in Attitude & Development).

 

Top Exporter of the year Award – 2000-01

For its outstanding export performance during the year 2000 – 01, JISCO has received the All India Award for the highest exporter conferred by Engineering Export Promotion Council (EEPC).
